Can I just start off by saying how good our GOD is? He is just so beyond anything I could ever imagine, and I love Him so much.
This trip to the UK has continued to define Billy & myself and neither of us can see ourselves ever being satisfied with who we were before. What we are doing here is so fulfilling. We know we have been called for such a time as this. To watch God work through us has just been overwhelming, In one week, we had the opportunity to share the gospel with 3 different people, and plant seeds in their life, and we gave away 2 bibles to people. We have been able to advise people who are just starting out in their faith where to start reading the bible and how to go about it. Billy was able to talk with someone who thought they were beyond all hope because the enemy had fed them lies about blaspheming the Holy Spirit. The Lord has used us to speak into so many people’s lives here. We hear “I am so glad the Lord sent you to us”. “I don’t want you to have to leave”, all the time. The Lord has really begun to use Billy mightily in the prophetic, and he says he almost gets so much stuff now it’s hard to process. I think he has always walked in the office of a prophet, but we can see the Lord elevating that gift in him.
We were able to minister last week at Fountains Church at the New Wine service. The Holy Spirit really showed up and ministered to several people. Since that service, we have felt a real shift in the atmosphere here, like we have stepped into something different now, but we have also had more intense warfare this week since that service. We can feel in the air we are on the precipice of something spiritually. I posted on Facebook a photo from Ryan Lestrange this week and It said “I hear the Lord saying ‘ Roar and War for your door!’ God is positioning you at the door but the enemy is persisting – fight him with the GROAN of prayer and the PRAISE of Judah!” It spoke volumes to me because that is where we are at. I sense in the spirit that we have been positioned in front of our door and we are to war and groan to open it. Also, the craziest thing is last night I found a key on the ground in front of me. A UK Key – not the more modern keys that we have in America. I felt the Lord saying “here is the key for your door!”
Last night, friends of ours felt like they should drive us home from church instead of letting us catch the bus home. We are so thankful for them. We have a few spiritual mothers and fathers here and we consider this couple one of them. They spoke into our lives, instructing us how to handle what we feel in the spirit now, giving us more history on the area of Leeds, Halifax, and Bradford, the three cities here we feel especially drawn to. Billy and I both were rocking under the power of the Holy Spirit that was evident in our conversation. They even connected some things we have been sensing and feeling in the spirit with the why on some other things.
Every step we have taken here, we are claiming territory. As crazy as us moving every month has been, I think he ordained that so that we could be in the places he needed us to be for those seasons. We had to be in Leeds for a time. We had to be in Halifax for a time. We are in Bradford all the time with what we do with Fountains Church. He needed us there.
We have had a few people that are just getting to know us ask what we do during the week and we are able to explain to them what we do (with so many different churches), and they keep coming back and saying ‘you are building a network,” and we really are. We are connected with so many local churches in the area and so many people from different flows and streams, that it is almost crazy. The Lord has given us connections all over the area, and now we are even branching up into Scotland at the end of this month to make more connections.
The Lord confirms for us almost every day that we are here in the right season. It took so long for us to get here, but He always knows what He is doing. We are not too late.
We are here praying into this city, into this area, waging warfare over spirits in the atmosphere and touching people’s lives with the love of God one person at a time.
We keep saying “we need more time.” When we first came here, we thought six months would be a lot of time to do some of the work he was asking us to do, but we are already half way through our time here, and we feel there is still so much to be done in the spirit. I can’t explain it all, but I know the Lord understands.
We have been too busy to really write everything that has happened these past two weeks, and this blog honestly feels like it is just scratching the surface of it, but I feel the rumble in my spirit of the shift, and it excites me for what is to come.
People are asking us how to move in the prophetic, and that they feel like they are a knower and/or seers and how do they activate those gifts and use them? God has opened up an entirely new world to us.
At the same time, the enemy has attacked identity in both of us. We feel so unqualified. Who are we to be here doing this? We both know who we are in the spirit, but we still have attacks from the enemy against our character, our abilities, even the fact that we came to the UK to do this. We have learned to cast off what the enemy is saying. To gird ourselves up in the truth of His righteousness in us, and go forth in the assignment He has placed before us, and we are thankful when He affirms to us that we are doing the right thing. We are continuing to press on and press into Him. We thank all of you for your prayers and your support. They mean so much to us, and to the Kingdom. Every prayer or penny you sow into us has a part in the love of Christ being sown throughout the UK.
